My wonderful wife and 3 awesome children.  Project managed Bay View, which was the first project in the U.S. to use Delta Beam.  Swung a 100t crawler out of a 25′ hole.  PCI CFA and voting member on PCI Erector’s Committee.  Been part of the Mid-States team for 17 years.

Member of the Town of Beloit Board of Review, Junior Achievement.

Off the Clock:
Coaching baseball and basketball and attending kids’ sporting or acting events.  Playing sports with my family or activities outdoors. Completed the Spartan Trifecta in 2015.  Die hard Bronco fan.  Love to compete at just about anything.

Erected two 7-story precast buildings side by side in Chicago.  First person in U.S. to install the Delta Beam.  Was the quarterback on our high school football team the year we won the state championship, 52-0.  That season we beat Mike Wolff’s (Vice President of Safety and Plant Operations) team 34-14.  He had no sacks and I had 2 TDs.

Off the Clock:
I have a great wife of 4 years, a 12-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son that keep me busy.  Enjoy golf, billiards, no yard work and more golf.  Back in my 20’s I was a Pro Table Soccer player (foosball).

I have been in the precast industry over 20 years and been involved with more projects than I can remember.  I enjoy working with our customers to figure out viable solutions for their projects and precast needs.

My best times are spent with my family.  I enjoy mountain climbing, hunting, mountain biking and the outdoors.

Parasailed 600’ in the air in the Gulf of Mexico.  I’ve been at Mid-States for 18 years and been part of many exciting projects.

Off the Clock:
I enjoy golf and spending time with family and friends.  I love spending time with my grandchildren.  Most people don’t know that I have a BA in Elementary Education & Learning Disabilities.  I also played 4 years of college football with Dave Krieg (19 yrs in NFL) as my teammate.

I am blessed to be married to my wife of 4 years and enjoy raising our young family.  Have completed a few marathons and look forward to many more.  Completed my Eagle Scout as a freshman in high school.  Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from UW Stout.

Enjoy hunting, fishing, traveling, gardening, running and home projects.  Also a fan of food & drink.  Huge fan of the only true sport (and number one in the world) soccer, go Man U.

I have been with Mid-States for 13 years doing various jobs.  I am currently doing the scheduling for the field service crews.  I come from a long line of family members who have devoted many years at Mid-States.

Off the Clock:
Proud mother of two sons and one daughter.  Happily married for 23 years.  Enjoy all kinds of music.  Family time is the most important thing to me.  We have a huge family that enjoys getting together for any occasion.  Also a HUGE Elvis fan.

Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations & Communication in 2013 from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA.

Off the Clock:
Enjoy walking, jogging with my dog and reading mystery and suspense type novels.  Also enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling and shopping.  And binge watching shows on Netflix!  Who doesn’t?!


Mike Burke | Field Coordinator

Graduated from UW-Stout with a BS in Construction.  Worked at the Epic site in Verona for 2 years.  Designed the lawn irrigation system on top of the Deep Space Auditorium.  Married my best friend.

Member at the local rifle club where I enjoy weekly trap night.

Off the Clock:
I enjoy the outdoors: distance bicycling, running, shooting, tinkering with car repairs and things around the house.  I also enjoy sampling and touring craft breweries around Wisconsin.


Al Harrington | Field Foreman

Have helped install several unique precast structures in the 16 years I have been here.  The coolest probably is the 80’ tall cross at Grace Presbyterian in Peoria, IL.  My children and family and the time I get to spend with them is the most important.

Off the Clock:
I volunteer at Feed the Needy with GPS Community Church.  Love to ride my Harley and go to the drag races.  I played college soccer and hope to coach one of my kids in the future.  I jumped off the Stratosphere in Las Vegas, 856’.

Taking on the role of Foreman at Mid-States.  Have since enjoyed working on several successful projects.

Leader of 4-H beef cattle project.  Member of American Shorthorn Association.  I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, working on projects around the farm and watching my boys ride their dirt bike.  I love to work hard and play hard.
