CARPENTER
The Carpenter’s responsibilities include laying out patterns on wood stock, dividing pattern into sections according to shape of casting to facilitate removal of precast from mold, cuts and shapes parts; trims, sands, and shapes surfaces; assembles sections and verifies dimensions to complete pattern; seals mold using epoxies, lacquers, or polyurethane coating applied by spray, brush, or roller; and sets up molds according to shop drawings.

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Industrial Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities include observing mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove parts; examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections; inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements; adjusts functionals parts of devices and control instruments; repairs or replaces defective parts; and more!
