SAFETY INTERN - SUMMER 2024
The Field Safety Intern is responsible for closely collaborating with the VP of Safety and Quality to observe and document processes for the safe installation of Mid-States’ precast building products. They are organized self-starters, eager to gain hands-on experience in field construction safety and safety program administration.


INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING INTERN - SUMMER 2024
The Industrial Engineering Intern is responsible for closely collaborating with the Industrial Engineering Manager to identify problems present in current processes and determine solutions to increase efficiency.


PURCHASING SPECIALIST
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for purchasing material required for the manufacture of Mid-States Concrete Industries products. They oversee vendor and non-vendor managed inventory as well as new purchasing requests, which have a direct impact on the organization’s ability to generate savings while exceeding customer expectations.


ROAD CREW TEAM MEMBER (FIELD INSTALLER)
The Field Installer is responsible for safely installing our precast beams, columns, wall panels, and hollow core plank. Key job tasks include rigging, bracing, and grouting wall panels; setting, detailing, and grouting plank; general labor tasks to ensure a safe working environment; and more. This position requires travel to and from job sites and can require layovers.


1ST SHIFT PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER
The Production Team Member is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing our precast beams and columns, wall panels, solid slabs, and hollow core products. They interpret blueprints as a guide to measure, mark, and build structural components. They are proficient in the placing and stressing of rebar strands. The Production Team Member relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job while meeting company safety, quality, and productivity targets.


2ND & 3RD SHIFT PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities are to fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines under appropriate supervision. They are responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance, preventive maintenance, component replacement, and repair tasks, utilizing carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills. They work on assigned projects and make appropriate decisions based on work experience and technical skill set.
