Raising three amazing children into responsible, contributing, independent adults with my amazing wife. We now have all 3 kids in college. Mallory is a junior at UW-Platteville, Camden is a sophomore at Minnesota State, and Lacy is a freshman at UW-LaCrosse. Extremely proud of all three of them!

Accomplishments
Instructor at the United States Marine Corps Engineer School. Awarded two Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medals. I’ve had the honor of working on several local projects for Mid-States including the Boys and Girls Club, ABC Supply Stadium, Lincoln Academy, and Wright & Wagner Lofts. Father of three amazing kids. My four-year-old thinks she’s 30 and keeps me on my toes.

I enjoy golfing, fishing, the outdoors, and drinking a cold beer with friends and family, usually while golfing or fishing.
Secret Life
I am a huge history nerd. I’m working my way through the Presidential autobiographies - my favorite so far being Ulysses S. Grant.
RYAN DESMOND

Accomplishments
Ellinwood is my greatest accomplishment. I take a lot of pride in being a part of the install.
Favorite Memory
My favorite memory is installing Wicker Park at close to 200’ tall. I was a newer foreman at the time and I’m grateful for the opportunity I was given to complete the whole job. It gave me a chance to prove myself while being an exciting project to take on.

Before joining Mid-States, I dedicated 20+ years to the cell tower industry. My career began at the tower tech level, affording me invaluable ground-up insights. As I worked my way up to senior management, I also assumed the top leadership role in safety and construction management, ensuring our team’s welfare while achieving industry excellence.
Off the Clock
I’m a passionate classic car collector, often found tinkering under the hood or showcasing them at local shows. Beyond cars, I enjoy shooting guns, motorsports, snowmobiling and spending time with my family.

I have an English bulldog named Trump.
WENDY MENDIOLA

Accomplishments
I have been with Mid-States for 20 years doing various jobs in the Production/Shipping/Scheduling Department. My current title is Field Scheduling Manager. I come from a long line of family members who have devoted many years at Mid-States.

Proud mother of two sons and one daughter. Enjoy all kinds of music. Family time is the most important thing to me. We have a huge family that enjoys getting together for any occasion.

Married to my loving and supporting wife Erin and father to our daughter Alexa. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in construction from UW-Stout.

Spending time with family. I enjoy fishing, shooting and the outdoors. Also, a big Wisconsin sports fan. Love watching and going to Badger, Packer and Brewers games.

Second oldest of eight children - 6 boys and 2 girls. Family gatherings are a riot.

Pretty much completely flipped the current house we are in, very proud of the work I’ve done! Led my son’s basketball team to an undefeated season a few years back. Go Bulls!
Extracurricular
Help coach my son’s teams. Anything from basketball to soccer to baseball.
Off the Clock
Taking our two dogs on walks, fishing, playing every sport under the sun with my seven-year-old. Recently been dabbling with wood working.
Secret Life
My great-grandfather was a decorated World War I veteran in Poland and moved to the United States after the war. He was credited with many heroic acts of bravery and even has part of an exhibit dedicated to him in the Polish Museum of America in Chicago.

Accomplishments:
Been with Mid-States for 21 years. Have built some of our most challenging projects.
Off the Clock:
Spending time with family and friends. Enjoy hunting and fishing and think there should be more time to do both. Told I look like Mark Sanchez from the NY Jets, I disagree.
AL HARRINGTON

Accomplishments:
Worked on some large projects. Confluence in Des Moines, IA was one of my first big ones since becoming a foreman.
Off the Clock:
Working out has become a lifestyle for me to become healthier. Also love drag racing and riding the Harley.
Secret Life:
I played soccer in Europe for a month during the summer after my sophomore year in high school.
