Accomplishments
By far, my greatest accomplishments have been my marriage of 14 years to my best friend and wife, Ereka, and together raising our four amazing children - our sons Madden, Grayson, and Bowen, and daughter Ellie. Following would be graduating with honors (Cum Laude) from Upper Iowa University in 2011 with a BASc degree, majoring in Accounting, and advancing my career over the years which was made possible only by the grace of God and a few people He has placed in my life who have given me mentorship and opportunities to which I am forever grateful.
Off the Clock
In my spare time I enjoy fishing with my oldest son, Madden; shopping local department stores for the latest yard inflatables with my middle son, Grayson; playing baseball in the yard with my youngest son, Bowen; and touring our backyard chickens and garden with my daughter, Ellie. I also enjoy vacationing with my family, golfing, hiking, hunting, fishing, woodworking, kayaking, and trail riding our side-by-side.
AMANDA PARR

Accomplishments
I have been with my wonderful husband for 14 years and have a 4-year-old son and a 2-year-old son. I earned my Bachelor's and my Master's degrees while working full time.
Off the Clock
My favorite thing to do when I am not at work is spend time with my family. I also like to go to concerts and see live bands. My family and I like to vacation in Missouri. Our extended family has land near Lake of the Ozarks, so we try to plan at least one trip every year.
REBECCA OTTESEN
Senior AP Specialist
Accomplishments
My biggest accomplishment is turning AP Automation into a reality. I find it easy to use and I hope others feel the same. It is paperless so I do not have to file, which makes me very happy!!
Extracurricular
I am with my six-year-old grandson, Noah, every weekday afternoon, and all day Saturday. I try to make time for a project one of those days or let him paint or do some other activity, as he is very creative. So far this spring and summer, we have painted two pieces of fence - one with flowers and one with the American flag, and we are currently working on painting some landscape stones to make into sunflower stepping stones to put into my gardens.
Off the Clock
Off the clock (and on sometimes - shh), I dream of being at the beach. We vacation at the same resort every October, and it is something I look forward to every year. Spending time with my grandson and watching him grow (he is a little too adult for me at six) has been a rewarding experience. Recently Noah told me he likes to sit on my lap and will do that when he is bigger, too. He said, “Grandma, do you know why I like to sit on your lap?” I said, “No, why?” He held up his hands in the shape of a heart and said, “Because I love you Grandma.” It melted my heart!!

I hate wearing shoes and the cold winters.

Accomplishments
Most recently I passed the Illinois Real Estate license exam on my first attempt. But overall, my biggest accomplishment is my two daughters. My oldest is a soccer player at Rockford Christian High School and my youngest is most recently learning how to do math on a Japanese abacus at the age of five.
Extracurricular
I participate regularly in my church worship group and have been part of the live band for group events.
Off the Clock
I absolutely love to entertain. I enjoy gathering family and friends and making large meals. My family and I love camping and swimming during the summer. I love to travel anywhere where there are palm trees.
Secret Life
I love to learn new hobbies. When I was 17, I took flying lessons on a Piper J3 Cub, and I was an avid motorcyclist in my twenties.
REKA EHRENTREU

Accomplishments
I was a finalist in various screenwriting and film festivals for screenplays (feature-length scripts and TV pilots) and for a short film I wrote. I graduated from DePaul University’s MFA in Screenwriting program, which was a dream come true.
Off the Clock
I take part in various ways with groups that bring awareness to women’s issues. I love to write (mainly comedy), vacation near the beach, and yoga. I used to photograph and interview bands before the pandemic. I enjoy storytelling when I get the chance and recently attended a wonderful storytelling retreat.
Secret Life
My hand made its TV debut when I reached for a free box of popcorn chicken at KFC. It happened in 2002 when I was an intern at a local TV station. A year later, my entire self made its public access debut when the Mass Communications students at the community college I attended produced a program for class credit.
KEVIN SMITH
Senior Accountant
Accomplishments
I’ve dipped my toes in a couple oceans, stumbled to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, seen the world from the top of a mountain, won a mini-golfing marathon, and ran a 50k race (finishing was a win for me, but no, I was nowhere near actually winning). But that’s enough about me! Life is unpredictable and beautiful, and I am fortunate to have so many inspiring people in my life, in particular my wife-to-be Allison.
Off the Clock
In my free time I prefer to be outside. You’ll find me trail-running, hiking, kayaking, golfing, or in my backyard with my shoes off and hands full of dirt. I have spent the last couple years converting my backyard into a native prairie, which is just starting to take off. I like to cook and enjoy trying new recipes and foods, or trying to recreate old recipes that went really right.
I am a lifelong Packer fan and have had the chance to see Packers-Bears at Soldier Field (the tailgating was epic - brats truly are the great unifier) and hope to see them play up at Lambeau sometime soon.

The hurricane deck under Niagara Falls is my happy place.
